Review: They came out to my house exactly as they said and they replaced my windshield in a timely manner. Everything so far looks great and the price was less than all the other bids that I received and they all use the same glass. So it was a win win win.

Review: Had them come fix my hatch glass on a Subaru Forester, and they did a good job, however I think I had the wrong glass installed. After the install, the hatch won’t fit back together the way it should. Working on getting the situation figured out, but not sure when it will be fixed. Until then, I can’t drive my car, so that’s a little upsetting. May change my review once/if it gets fixed though.

Review: Cautionary Review of SIR Auto GlassI recently had a profoundly disappointing experience with SIR Auto Glass, and I feel compelled to share my experience for anyone considering their services. Despite their online presence suggesting a local operation in Boise, it became quickly apparent that they lack a physical presence in the area. When I encountered issues with my installation, I found it nearly impossible to communicate with anyone beyond their third-party answering service. The installer, whilst apologetic, did not have the necessary parts to complete the job, which left my car sitting unusable in the garage for five days. Moreover, Shaun, the owner apparently based in Portland, initially responded to my complaints but has since fallen silent(his voice mailbox remains full, so it is impossible to leave a message). The installation itself was subpar—my Land Rover’s A-pillar trims were misaligned, risking water damage, and the grille cowling at the base of the windscreen ended up buckled and required replacement. To make matters worse, the interior fabric on the pillars and the sun visors were left stained with black grease or glue, suggesting a lack of attention to detail. Ultimately, I had to take my vehicle to the local Land Rover dealer to rectify these issues, and I am now seriously considering legal action against this business. I urge anyone thinking of hiring SIR Auto Glass to exercise extreme caution and especially consider the high number of recent, negative reviews, not to mention their 'F' rating with the Better Business Bureau.FINAL UPDATE: 10 February 2025.Shaun,as I mentioned in my previous correspondence, the trim pieces as well as the cowl were replaced at the dealership last year due to your lack of a timely response. Additionally, this was the original windshield, which I also stated previously.Frankly, I’m frustrated by your continued refusal to take responsibility. The state of the headliner and side A-pillar damage has nothing to do with ‘a prior install’ since the original windshield had not been replaced before. Your explanation is not only contradictory but suggests a blatant attempt to dodge accountability. If your technician noticed this alleged damage before any work was done, why was I not informed immediately? This is becoming increasingly tiresome. Let me be clear—this is not about the money. I couldn’t care less about that anymore. It’s obvious you’re just trying to save face at this point. I’ve seen several other negative reviews reporting the same issues, so this isn’t exactly new territory for you. I’m done. I’ve given you more than enough chances to take responsibility. Don’t expect to hear from me again.UPDATE: as of today, 14 August 2024, I have received no response from the owner.UPDATE: 9 December 2024. Owner finally decides to leave a 'token' message under my review. To anyone thinking about using this business: just bear in mind that if anything goes wrong, you’ll probably be left to sort it out yourself.Dear Shaun: Your public response is curious, considering I made you aware of the issue at the time, and you ignored my phone messages. This feels like a half-hearted attempt to save face. You never returned my calls or made any effort to address the problem. Shame on you—this reflects very poorly on your business ethics.

Review: They were friendly, the gentleman showed up on time very professional. He did the work very quickly, nothing wrong looks so great having it done I can see better now, I loved the work and new glass. He didn't leave any mess behind either. No charge to come to you which was awesome.

Review: I had a terrible experience with this company. A worker named Kiel dropped a window and dented my car. He gave me Matt’s number, who is the warranty specialist, but Matt then passed me off to a woman named Brittney. Brittney claimed she submitted the paperwork but hasn’t followed up, saying it’s now out of her hands. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I strongly recommend choosing a different company, as these people seem unprofessional and indifferent to their customers.”
